Essential Skills (ES) assessments measure reading, document use, and numeracy and provide a score that relates to workplace performance.  Assessment results:

  • Provide an indicator of readiness for training and work

WESA (Workplace Essentials Skills Assessment), created by the Essential Skills Group: 

  • Online computer-based
  • Offers short and long version assessments
  • Based on 12-month subscription model
