APPEAL Your Assessment

You can ask for an appeal or a reassessment, if you do not agree with the decision on your assessment. It is not a guarantee that you will receive more financial assistance by submitting an appeal request.

How to Appeal Your Assessment

  1. Visit the Financial Aid Office for assistance.
  2. Complete the appropriate appeal request form and include supporting documentation.
  3. See a Financial Aid Advisor during drop-in appointments for help to send your appeal request to StudentAid BC.

Processing an appeal request can take up to 6 weeks and it must be submitted at least 6 weeks before your current study period ends.

Overaward appeals must be submitted by 90 days after the date of the overaward amount letter from StudentAid BC.
